The Stamp Collective was formed in 2009. Led by Joe and Paloma Trigas, the 20-piece band made up primarily of students from the Guildhall School of Music in London has taken tunes from all over the globe and worked them into energetic arrangements.

They have performed in various London venues including the Barbican Hall as part of the Urban Sounds showcase in 2009 as well as spending an evening recording in Abbey Road studios in Spring 2009.

In May 2010 the ensemble performed in the Vortex Jazz Club alongside world-famous gypsy virtuoso fiddler Roby Lakatos, who joined the band on stage for their encore in front of a packed audience. In July they performed with the Young East London Folk Ensemble in the Barbican Hall.
