The Joe Broughton Fiddle School takes place at Birmingham Conservatoire as a one-day event every 4 - 6 weeks on a Sunday. The Conservatoire is very easy to get to by rail, road or air!
Included in the day are workshops, an individual lesson and, sometimes, guest tutors with whom the students get chance to work and perform.
Guest tutors have included Dave Swarbrick, Roger Wilson, Kevin Dempsey, Paloma Trigas, The Urban Folk Quartet and many more.
All fiddle players of all ages from beginners to professionals are catered for on this flexible but productive day.
The standard cost for the fiddle school day is £60 but we are happy to negotiate with people travelling a long distance, booking a series or bringing their whole family, just mention this when you get in touch.
Please don't hesitate to email the fiddle school administrator for more details, with any questions or to book a place:
